With conversations moving to private spaces like WhatsApp and DMs in 2026, I’ve found that I’m sharing more with my partner than ever before. We have a shared thread where we send everything from memes to porn videos we find interesting. It’s made our communication feel much more integrated. I used to be worried that it would be "too much," but it’s actually made us feel more like a team. Do you guys find that these private digital channels make it easier or harder to be honest about your habits?

I just wandered into this thread while I was researching the "fewer likes, more useful content" trend. This is a perfect example of how digital habits are becoming more about utility and connection than just seeking validation. It’s cool to see the "Conversations in Private Spaces" trend playing out in such a personal way. I usually focus on the marketing side of things, but I always enjoy these glimpses into how people are actually using the tech. Keep up the honest discussion!
