Where To Buy Asphalt Sealer In Bulk UPDATED

We offer two types of premium contractor grade asphalt sealcoat sealer, asphalt emulsion sealer and coal tar emulsion sealer. Both sealcoat sealers are applied the same and have the same outcome but the chemical makeup of the two asphalt sealers is quite different. If you aren't sure which to get, we recommend our own brand label of asphalt emulsion sealcoat sealer which has quickly become a popular choice among our other customers needing asphalt sealcoating sealer.

where to buy asphalt sealer in bulk

Our professional-grade Big A asphalt emulsion Asphalt Pavement Sealer is fast becoming the only driveway and parking lot sealer allowed to be used for the re-sealing of asphalt pavement because of Environmental issues and new regulations enacted by the EPA in an effort to protect our Ground Water from Pollution.

There are many benefits to using Asphalt Emulsion based Pavement Sealers but the biggest appears to be the safety issues. It has near-zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and is completely environmentally friendly and as such, this product is not hazardous and cleans easily with water. It can also be applied on damp surfaces and usually requires "Single Coat Application" if applied by an asphalt pavement sealer Broom or Squeegee.

Our premium Asphalt Emulsion Pavement Sealer comes in a bulk 275-gallon tote with 210 Gallons asphalt pavement sealer. This is enough sealer to cover approximately 16,000 to 18,000 Square Feet of pavement with a single coat application using the Broom or Squeegee application method. It can also be sprayed with excellent results. Big A Asphalt Sealer comes pre-mixed with slate which is a far superior alternative to sand and the right ratio of water to give the best overall finished product. There's no need to mix anything else in!

Short Answer: Upto 5% by volume - Our asphalt emulsion sealer comes pre-mixed as a ready-to-use product with the appropriate amount of water added for maximum performance of the product. You can "dilute" the product by adding upto 5% water by volume but we highly discourage you from adding water or attempting to dilute the product to "make it go further".

Short Answer: Approximately 3 - 4 years - Our Big A asphalt emulsion sealer is designed with 70% solids, almost 40% more than your average big-box store sealers. They advertise a 2 year sealer, but in reality, it might last 1 year and if you're lucky, 2. If properly applied, our sealer will last approximately 3 to 4 years in low traffic conditions like a driveway or small business parking lot. To achieve maximum lifespan, this product can NOT be diluted nor have additional sand additives. Also, the pavement must be cleaned of all dust and debris prior to sealing. Failure to comply with these application requirements will greatly reduce the overall lifespan of this product.

Short Answer: Yes - All of the asphalt emulsion and coal tar sealcoat sealers we offer, are designed to be applied with either a sealcoat sprayer or manually with a sealcoat brush or squeegee. Gilsonite sealers can only be applied with a squeegee or mechanical pump.

Deliveries to fill your tank secure lower prices per gallon and end trips to the plant, but still demand a time investment, for transportation. When your sprayer system runs out of sealer on the job site, your crew must travel back to the bulk tank to refill.

Asphalt based sealers have been around for several decades and have been widely used throughout the west coast. With the help of Raynguard Protective Materials out of Sacramento CA, ESS has developed an asphalt emulsion sealcoat called Enviro-Kote. RPM has been formulating and manufacturing sealcoat for over 30 years. They have developed and shipped Sealcoat products around the world. ESS purchased a batch plant from RPM along with the development of Enviro-Kote. Raynguard Technicians helped install and educate our batchers on the mixing process of Enviro-Kote. Enviro-Kote contains the industries lowest P.A.H. levels. You can rest assured knowing that not only is your pavement protected but your children are safe to play on it. The ESS team has been in the sealcoat manufacturing business for several years. Enviro-Kote is the first of its kind to be released on the Midwest market. ESS is constantly working with customers to get a better understanding of product installation best practices and developing product enhancements.

Fill-and-seal is a thick sealant that contains some aggregate, such as crushed stone, coarse sand, or gravel, and is similar to the asphalt currently on your driveway. It essentially allows you to patch damaged areas and fill substantial cracks and holes. This kind of patching method costs $0.35 to $0.50 per square foot and, once dry, still requires a top coat of regular sealer.

XL-1000 Superior Grade Asphalt Sealer is a fortified, rubberized, coal tar-based blacktop sealer designed to protect, beautify and extend the life of your asphalt investment. XL-1000 is rubberized and will provide a strong bond to the pavement in order to protect it from the harsh elements and increase the curb appeal of your blacktop investment.

For most of you, choices will be limited to what's available at your localhome center or hardware store. Many larger cities have a distributor of asphaltcoating products used by contractors. You may be able to purchase theseprofessional-grade sealers and fillers, but remember that contractors buy inbulk. Most pro-grade sealers come in 55-gallon drums, not the 5-gallon bucketsyou'll find at the home center. If you want to get the top-of-the-line sealer, check with your neighbors about buying enough to seal several driveways at thesame time.

Accordingto Rick Noon, technical director at SealMaster, the more solids (asphalt, coal tar, polymers, etc.) in the formula, the better the sealer quality and themore expensive it will be. You'll get what you pay for, and you get more solidsin better or best-grade sealers.

Comparing the various additives and solids used by different manufacturers isdifficult because the formulas are considered proprietary information. Thegeneral rule is that the top-quality sealers will have the greatest amount ofsolids left on the asphalt after the liquids evaporate and cure.

Asphaltsealers are more expensive than coal tar sealers, primarily due to saferenvironmental factors (lower VOCs) and the technology (polymers, etc.) that mustbe added to an asphalt-based sealer to improve its otherwise poor performance.

Most consumer-grade crack sealers are cold-applied asphalt emulsions withvarying concentrations of latex and polymers. They are available in pourablejugs for cracks up to 1/8 in. wide, caulking gun cartridges for 1/2-in.-widecracks, or as trowelable material for wider ones.

According to sealer manufacturers and engineers at the Asphalt Institute, most driveways do not need filled sealer until they have begun to develop finecracks. This generally happens after several years. Let new asphalt cure forabout a year before sealing, and then use just a plain sealer.

The best repair for really "alligatored" paving is removal and patching. ButGator-Patch by Maintenance Inc. and Gator Pave by SealMaster canstabilize and level badly cracked asphalt without removing it. You apply themlike a filled sealer using a pole-mounted squeegee.

Geocel 2320 gutter sealer is a semi-self-leveling sealant that is asphalt compatible. It provides durable adhesion to most building surfaces, making it a multi-purpose sealant ideal for more than just sealing gutters.
